Microsoft Community Contributor 2011

I am honored to have recently received the Microsoft Community Contributor Award for 2011.  Honestly, I don’t know how many people got it, what the conditions were or really anything.  I heard about this new award from Microsoft at about the same time that I got it.  That being said, I’m still very much grateful to have some of my hard work recognized.  Being recognized isn’t why I contribute, but it sure is nice to hear that at least some people think that what I’m doing is valuable.

Here’s the tag line that they sent in the email:

The Microsoft Community Contributor Award is reserved for participants who have made notable contributions in Microsoft online community forums such as TechNet, MSDN and Answers. The value of these resources is greatly enhanced by participants like you, who voluntarily contribute your time and energy to improve the online community experience for others.
